With Craig winding up his semester, we are in serious gear-up now. We have purchased our mini laptop or netbook - which will allow us portability to Vancouver and hopefully keep this up when we are out there.
Craig is all smiles and seriously looking forward to seven months off - with pay! Somebody pinch him! Tomorrow is his last day of work until September!
I am also in the process of figuring out my Mom's digital camcorder and hope to snap up some footage. Look forward to video trials here before we go. I have to get this technology down so I can quickly get our adventures posted in a timely manner. Both Samantha and Trevor are looking forward to sharing their trip with their classrooms. Both of them have "smartboards" in their classrooms and the teachers have internet access readily available. Samantha's homework for her teacher is to journal her daily activities - and is hoping some of it will be electronically.
